In short: the panel runs on your server and your data stays there. We collect no usage data, there is no OpsVibes account, and this website uses no tracking cookies.
1. The panel on your server
Your source code, databases, files, logs, environment variables and secrets are stored on your server. Secrets are encrypted before they are saved. None of this is sent to our servers.
The panel has no telemetry or usage tracking. It only connects out in these cases:
- Installation: the install script is downloaded from get.opsvibes.com and Docker from get.docker.com.
- Checking for and downloading updates: the panel asks the ghcr.io registry (GitHub Container Registry) whether a new version exists. The registry sees your server's IP address, as with any Docker image pull.
- App and database images: pulled from Docker Hub or the registry you choose.
- SSL certificates: Traefik requests certificates for your domains from Let's Encrypt, along with the email you enter, if any.
- GitHub: when you connect, the panel creates a GitHub App in your account to read the repositories you pick and receive push webhooks.
- AI providers: only once you add an API key. The content a request needs (logs, configuration, what you type) goes straight from your server to that provider, under its own policy.
- Off-server backups: only if you set up S3, R2, B2 or Google Drive. Backups go straight from your server to the destination you chose.
All of these connections go directly from your server to the service, never through our servers.
2. The opsvibes.com website
- The site is static: no forms, no accounts, no analytics or advertising tools.
- Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent anywhere.
- The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any hosting provider, Vercel may keep technical logs such as IP address and browser to run the service and stop abuse.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the font is fetched.
3. When you contact support
When you email us or open a GitHub issue, we only use what you send (your email, message, attached logs) to reply and fix problems. We do not sell or share it. You can ask us to delete your emails at any time. Before sending logs, hide passwords, tokens and secrets.
4. Deleting your data
Because your data lives on your server, you delete it by removing projects in the panel, uninstalling the panel or deleting the server. To revoke the panel's GitHub access, uninstall the GitHub App from your GitHub account settings.
5. Changes to this policy
If the way the panel or website handles data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
